A New Baby

I should warn you that this post will be a collection of randomness streaming from my brain.

My friend that I helped host her shower for welcomed their sweet little girl into the world over the weekend.  She came two weeks early but the doctors feared she wasn’t getting adequate nutrients in the womb and that she would be better off on the outside.  She weighed 5 pounds 6 ounces and is doing great….so is mom. 

I was blessed to be able to spend some time with her yesterday while her hubby ran home to get cleaned up and to grab a bite to eat, she is just too precious for words!  I made the comment that it seems like only yesterday that my girls were this size (though a little over a pound heavier), she told me to wait a few months and I will get another one to hold and too coo over. 

It was fun seeing a new mom and dad look into their child with such amazement, God’s miracles never cease to amaze me!

We also had a baby shower this weekend, it was different than most of the ones I have attended as this one was a baby shower and birthday bbq in one!  It was 4+ long and jam packed with games, presents, food, cake, the works.  My whole family was exhausted when it was over that I know we all slept extremely well!

I am working on a book review for Passionate Housewives Desperate for God and I intended to do that this week but I am not sure if I will finish compressing all my thoughts into one post…I don’t want you to read so much that your eyes fall out of your head.

We had family come visit this weekend and homeschooling was brought up…….that is a whole days worth of posts sure to follow.
